Lebaron Cord-Duesenberg

This is a project I did while working with Mark Clayton at Restore Cars Ltd. This one was particularly challenging because it is the only one ever built and a prototype on top of that. I ended up removing the entire body skin to repair the wood work underneath. Then fabricated a new rear roll pan, trunk lid, trunk floors, running board edges, firewall, and tonneau cover side pieces. Because this was a prototype vehicle, none of the body panels seemed to fit from the factory.  I altered or remade every single bit of this car so that it would fit, and most importantly work, properly. Even the convertible top needed to be reengineered to fit underneath the factory tonneau cover
